Tips for Bread Storage.
All our bread is made with high quality organic ingredients and absolutely no preservatives or dough conditioners. This means that some extra care is needed to get the most life out of your bread.
Your bread is best within 2 to 3 days from purchase. Store your bread at room temperature. Make sure it has completely cooled and dried before storing. The correct amount of humidity will make your bread taste fresh longer. Specially designed bread boxes or bags are ideal in this regard, but a plastic bag that is left slightly opened or a linen towel wrapped tightly work as well.
Reheating your bread in the toaster or oven will revitalize slightly stale bread.
Our bread freezes well and will hold up to several months in the freezer. Make sure that your bread is sealed well in an airtight container before freezing. You can slice your bread before freezing and pull out slices as desired to reheat in the toaster. You can also thaw your whole loaf on the countertop overnight and then store as outlined above.
